Less Guesswork.
Learn how membership, insurance, care access and employer benefits fit together.
What is direct primary care?
A membership model for an ongoing primary care relationship. You pay a predictable monthly fee for eligible services instead of an additional charge for each included visit.
What makes DPC Plus different?
We combine primary and immediate care access, limited provider panels, care coordination and expanded benefits such as specialist eConsults and eligible prescriptions. Benefits depend on the plan you select.
Do you bill my insurance for membership visits?
Membership pays for included care directly. DPC Plus does not bill your insurance for those included visits. Outside providers and services may use your coverage separately.
Should I still have insurance?
Membership is not insurance and does not cover hospital stays, surgery or every outside service. Consider how you will cover major medical expenses outside membership.
Can I join if I have Medicare?
Contact your office before enrolling to discuss membership terms and how separate services interact with Medicare. Medicare does not pay the DPC membership fee, and coverage for outside services depends on Medicare’s rules.
What if I rarely get sick?
Membership gives you an ongoing relationship for preventive care, questions and new concerns. It can be useful even when you do not need frequent visits.
Can I get help while traveling?
Contact your care team. Whether virtual care is available depends on your needs and where you are located. Some situations require local in-person care.
Is someone available 24/7?
Ask your office for current after-hours access instructions. Digital support and messaging do not guarantee an immediate response from a live clinician. Call 911 for emergencies.
How do specialist eConsults work?
Your provider submits a clinical question for specialist guidance and reviews the recommendation with you. Complete Care and standard employer memberships include this benefit. Plus members pay $50 per case.
How do prescriptions work?
Eligible plans include ManifestRx. Specific medication lists, shipping limits and annual urgent-prescription limits apply. Read the prescription details.
What are the individual cancellation terms?
Plus and Complete Care have a three-month minimum, followed by month-to-month membership with 30 days’ written notice to cancel. Express Care ends automatically after 30 days.
How can my employer offer membership?
We work with groups of at least five employees. Schedule a discovery call to explore a simple rollout or a no-cost risk analysis.
How do I sign up?
Compare plans and enroll through Hint. Our team is notified of your signup. Contact your office if you have not heard from us within 24 hours, or need to be seen sooner.
