Originally from Madison, Mississippi, Elizabeth Sims has called the Mandeville, Covington and Madisonville area home for more than two decades. She graduated with honors from Mississippi College with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at LSU Health Sciences Center and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of South Alabama while raising three young children.
Her experience spans primary care, emergency medicine, medical weight management and advanced training in aesthetics. Her approach centers on listening, building individualized care plans and helping patients take an active role in their health.
Elizabeth has served on the board of the St. Tammany chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate. She also participates in school, sports and community programs, including the Homerun Club and Touchdown Club at Saint Paul’s School.
She and her husband, Collin Sims, are raising Sophia, Clay and Everett. Their family also includes two English bulldogs, Lula and Hank, and a black Labrador, Beau.
